Free Health Check up to children of Sanga Sangai

Rotaract club of Kist medical college has coordinated a Free Health check up of 42 kids of Sanga sangai (An NGO working to educate street kids and make their life better). 
Thanks alot to Dr. Vishal Gupta , Department of pediatrics, ENT, Opthalmo and Dental department for making this possible.
The club truly appreciate the keen devotion of Ms. Aarti Gupta for her effort to make the event success.

Opthalmic Screening at Home Heritage, Lazimpat

Today Rotaract club of Kist Medical College has successfully conducted “Free Ophthalmic Screening and health camp Phase I” in “Hope Hermitage “; an old age home consisting mainly Alzheimer's patients ,situated in Lazimpat. Total number of patients screened were 43 which included the elderly people of the old age home , staffs and also the local people. Around 14 rotaracters and other volunteers along with three interns were present to make this program a grand success. Cli nical examination such as visual acquity, reflex and binocular movements were done and the majority of chief complaint was found to be blurring of vision. And those patient in need of treatment were provided with free medicine. This was the completion of first phase of the screening and those who are in need of further treatment and management will be brought to Kist Medical College and teaching hospital. Rotaract Club of KIST Medical College participated in 6th Rajdhani Basketball Tournament held at St. Xavier's College Maitighar on Jan 6th, 2018 organized by Rotaract Club of Rajdhani.  The team spirit of our participating Rotaractors was commendable.  We would like to congratulate the winners, all the participants and Rac Rajdhani for their successful program.

CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING

Free GYNECOLOGY and OBSTETRICS HEALTH CAMP and CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING at Lagan chock, Kathmandu.  On the date of Dec 02 2017 Our club in collaboration with KIST Medical College organised the program. More than 85 women of differnt age group were treated and CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING was performed.  A medical team consisting Dr. Manisha Bajracharya (dpt of OBGYN, KISTMCTH), DR. Peru Pradhan (dpt of GYOBN, PHECT KIRTIPUR hospital), Dr.  Amita Pradhan  Dr  Ang Tshering Sherpa , Dr  Neeti Singh  ( dpt of community medicine, KISTMCTH) and 16 rotaractors (MBBS STUDENTS) with support of Parent Rotary- ROTARY CLUB OF CHANDAGIRI and local club of lagankhel the camp was succesful.
